Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month by Planning for the Future

Remembering Great Hispanic Americans Helps Us Learn From the Past and Improve Tomorrow
by Kevin Schneider on September 15, 2011
September 15th marks the beginning of National Hispanic Heritage Month. It is a time when everyone in the country takes note of the important contributions Hispanic Americans have made to this country. It is also a time to think about all the wonderful things that Hispanic Americans will produce in the future.
The theme of this year’s celebration, according to the official National Hispanic Heritage Month website, is “Many backgrounds, many stories…one American spirit.” The reason for this theme is related to the variety of different cultures and nationalities which are considered Hispanic or Latino.
In fact the day the month begins has great significance to many Hispanic Americans. As the site says, “The day of September 15 is significant because it is the anniversary of independence for Latin American countries Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. In addition, Mexico and Chile celebrate their independence days on September 16 and September18, respectively.”
When Americans throughout the country remember the past and look forward to the future, it is important to also prepare for what events may come. Not every day will a success. Failures and misfortune abound in life, and in order to keep yourself ready, maintaining financial security can be paramount to a happy life.
But of course, there are some events for which no amount of preparation can fully cover. Car accidents and emergency medical expenses can quickly run your savings dry. It’s true that sometimes “when it rains, it pours.” Let’s say it’s raining, you get into a fender bender, step out of the car, slip, and sprain your wrist. Now you have to pay for car repairs and medical bills.
If you find yourself scrabbling to pay bills due before you get your next paycheck, getting a payday loan can be the difference between a healthy lifestyle and eating ramen noodles for three weeks. By getting a cash advance on your paycheck you can avoid late fees and keep your finances from spiraling out of control. It’s a great way to ensure that your future can be spent striving for greatness instead of fretting over how to make ends meet.
